I had to twist a few arms when I wanted to buy tickets. Let's just say Regan was glad when Grandma came to town to take his ticket.

Wicked was wonderful! It is the BEST Broadway show I have seen yet.

Grandma had fly back to Minnesota yesterday. Life just isn't the same without her around; just ask Audrey. She just keeps asking for her. See Grandma, maybe it's a sign you should come and live out here!

Life is grand when Grandma comes to town

My Grandma Mickey is visiting from Minnesota. We love life when she is here. The kids just adore her so it always makes me sad when she has to leave. At least we have her for one more week!

Anna turns 8

My sweet Anna turned 8 in July. This year we were prepared with the camera, the "red" plate, homemade pizza & doughnuts. Who could have asked for more!
Here's to a good year my darling girl.

What have we done?

The pic above perfectly describes Ava for 4 1/2 years. Below is the Ava of today. Yikes! Where has she stored all of this attitude? Forget the terrible 2's and 3's, I guess 4 is where it's at!

At least today was a semi-decent day. Thank God for Preschool!

Regan does the STP

He's been training for months and it finally paid off. In July (I'm a tad behind in posting) Regan, Tomi and Elair biked the Seattle to Portland. This picture was taken at the 1/2 way point. Trust me, this pic looks a whole lot better than it did the next day. This was one of those moments where I gladly accepted a handshake instead of a hug!

Daddi-O visits

My dad came to visit us during my sisters graduation. The kids always love it when Papa Tommy comes to visit.

No more nuts!

I knew I had a chance of having a kiddo with food allergies, but MAN, Hayden has been high maintainance! I had some almond extract a few weeks ago and this is what happend. As a result, I brought him back to the allergist to see if we could test nuts. I had explained to him that I think it may have been the real almond extract that was used in a smoothie I had. He was reluctant #1 because Almonds are the least likely nut to cause an allergy *according to him, and#2 his only exposure was from nursing.

He finally agreed after a bit of mommy nagging.

Well, it was confirmed that yes, he is allergic to all tree nuts, almonds and peanuts.
What in the world will I do without peanut butter?
What will Anna's lunches consist of now?

2 epi-pens later, I guess we can make exceptions for this little guy we have become so fond of!

Audrey had a huge year! School year I mean. We started a class with her last fall. This is basically a preschool class only with mommy. In that year she had a baby brother, made several really good friends and was potty trained. Yay for the last one. My little 2 year old is not so little anymore, as you can tell she is definately 2 and doesn't want to sit still for the camera.
